Re: Used Tanks X2

Post by spro »

Many do not realize what it was to be a tanker. I mean living it. I have no right to express the hot coffins of another time or the scythe of tons of frozen steel. The battlefields of Europe to Eurasia where the heaviest met head on. Cursedly ugly conditions inside over many miles. The machine kept going for it was a tank. When I speak of sweet strings in my head, contrast that to huge noisy engines pounding the brain and gasping for breath every minute. All this time and many miles with repairs along the way, to serve the enemy a lethal charge and many more.
The tank destroyers were not a pretty bird. They were fast like a Firefly or crude as a hedgehog but they emitted a flash. and that was the last thing many saw. It is total sad and memories forgotten about the courage of men fighting themselves to enter into the world now.
