The first page is interesting,if barely readable in the enlarged version. Since the second page is not enlargeable and I can't read it, I have no idea if its interesting. I don't know what people do to post unreadable things but when its done it ought to be deleted.

I had no problems enlarging the pages (using two fingers on my Apple Macbook mouse pad) so I could read everything.
Nice to see the Small Company prevail in the courts. I hope it sticks.

My wife brought home a movie a while back regarding something similar.

A gentleman had created and patented the intermittent windshield wiper which he referred to as the "Blinking Eye".

He went to Detroit to demo and market his invention and had no takers. Not long after that he observed a new car sitting at a traffic light in a light rain and observed his windshield wiper motion in use.

He took the "Big Three" manufacturer to Court and they tried to settle for I believe $30m just before the hearing began, but he refused in order to prove in Court that they were in in fact guilty of Patent Infringement and didn't want the issue to just be swept under the carpet.

He won the case and was awarded $12m.

I found it to be a very interesting movie, as it was based on a true story.

It matters, but we have a policy AGAINST deleting posts. Anything posted on the board that does not violate our simple terms should remain on the board---even items that are offered for sale. The information can be useful for others, so it should remain. If it is misleading, there's enough people here with wisdom and knowledge that corrections are generally included in such a thread.

This isn't the first time that Sears pulled a stunt like that. The pushbutton release ratchet was also a design they stole from a private inventor.
