I'm thinking of getting a GoPro for a project.
It will be run by my son, so I'm not looking to spend a ton of money on a new one that is quite likely to get lost or broken.
Need him to be able to strap it to his chest to get video.
He won't be able to download it for a while, so we need a good memory capacity (and I'll probably need to buy extra memory cards).
What's a good one that might be suitable that I could find on the used market?
Are there any to avoid?
Other brands of cameras would be potential candidates.

I have a Hero3. I just do not like UE, it's difficult to do simple things. The newer ones might be better. It takes OK videos. I've heard some of the knock-offs are decent too, but cannot recall a specific name; something with a D?

Lots of options to choose from here.

You can buy one item, have it shipped DHL and have it less than a week.
If you buy more than one item the shipping becomes insane . It's actually less overall to place multiple single orders.
I used PayPal with no problem and got some great iPad cases super cheap.

Re: GoPro cameras
I was thinking about getting one for my Youtube channel. I considered getting something good, and then I thought about the way technology loses its value in six months. Now I'm considering the Polaroid Cube+. It's about $90 and does virtually nothing except shoot video.
It would be nice to have a remote, though.
