SS is toxic in California

Post by tornitore45 »

I received a package wit 3 stainless steel springs from McMaster
Label: Warning: Cancer and reproductive Harm www.P65Warning.ca.gov

I am too old to worry about reproduction but I am going to toss all the SS silverware and pots I have been using since I could say "Acciaio Inossidabile", just to be safe.

Wait! Don't do it without the Hazmat team and properly labelled toxic waste containers. OMG you could make us all suffer with your illegal dumping.....

I think the DPRC’s Prop 65 has added mother’s milk to the list as well.

The most toxic thing in California is that collection of jerks in Sacramento.

Virtually every place of business has one of those Prop 65 "known to the state..." warning signs. I would love to have one of those signs chemically analyzed to show that it contains "substances known to..." and thus force the state to put warning signs on their warning signs.

The latest idiocy is a law that forbids sit-down restaurants from providing plastic drinking straws unless the patron requests one. Yessir, we're saving the planet one straw at a time. Fast food joints can still pass out plastic straws willy-nilly for reasons I have yet to understand.

You people are reactionary fools. I quit eating stainless steel springs years ago. I only eat carbon steel. Organic!

My hat is still made of aluminum foil, however.

On ebay, they give you a place to put a prop 65 warning.

I'm always tempted to add:
"Living in California is harmful to your sanity"

Though not as harmful as living in New England. Been there, done that.

College buddy of mine wanted a pistol. Lived in Beverly, Mass. They made him go to a psychiatrist before they let him buy it.

I wisely left California in 1969.
Never looked back.

Is Stainless less toxic if you cross the border into Oregon or Nevada?
