How not to unload a truck
Don't drive a very heavy walk-behind forklift into a very light empty truck with an extended liftgate!

I would say the lift gate is adequate
Just because you don’t believe it - doesn’t mean it’s not so.
Have a few large employees get in the cab and ...
a few more stand on the front bumper.

The dumdest guy on earth!
The materials were loaded at Home Depot. Their store manager said they
had the customer sign a waiver. While the plywood and 2X4s are fairly obvious,
what you can't see is the back seat, which contains -- are you ready for this? --
10 bags of concrete @ 80 lbs. each. They estimated the load weight at 3000 lbs.
Both back tires exploded, the wheels bent and the back shocks were
driven through the floorboard.
The car is still running, as can be witnessed by the exhaust. A woman is
either asleep or otherwise out in the front seat passenger side. The guy
driving it was jogging up and down on Rt. 925.
Witnesses said their physical state was OTHER than normal. The driver
finally came back after the police were called, and was found crouched
behind the rear of the car, attempting to cut the twine around the
load! Luckily, the police stopped him and had the load removed.

Re: The dumdest guy on earth!
I sure the guy just loves the look of the even lower profile tires he has now!
Re: The dumdest guy on earth!
Sure makes me wonder what some people are thinking, when they try stunts like that. What ever happened to common sense? The best part is I see this kind of stuff going on more now than 10 years ago.
God must LOVE dumb people...
Seems like he made a world full of them!

I hope the HD manager got fired, if his folks had ANYTHING to do with that.
If the drugged bozos got out on the streets and dropped that on or in front of anyone causing an accident, the HD would have been right on top of the list of plaintiffs. Car manufaturer would have been next for not telling folks not to load that much stuff. (It doesn't actually say "plywood"
, it just gives a weight. My clients are not expert weight estimators.........you can't expect......)
Suit would have been stupid as far as the car manufacturer, but the HD would be legit. In the manager's place, I would have risked a suit for unlawful restraint, and gotten a cop over to cite for unsecured load while I had them "delayed". That involves no second-guessable decisions, and preserves the public safety.
