The Zone

Post by ctwo »

I cannot seem to log in anymore. It's been a week on a couple different PC environments.

When I log in, I'm thanked for logging in and the main forum reloads, but I'm not logged in.

A few months ago I had a problem there when I clicked one of the sub-forums, the main index page would just reload, so I could not step into any forums.

Now I cannot log in.

Did my post go last night?

I'm using Chrome and IE. Once it showed I was logged in, until I went into a forum and I was logged out.

When I go there now, I'n not logged in. When I click the first forum, I am logged in. Other forums, I'm logged out, and I cannot get most to even load.

Before that I was having a problem clicking a forum and it would just reload the main forum index.

I can see my profile.

Maybe it's a Chrome issue? I just discovered a crossed out half moon about this page was prevented from setting cookies. I click it and it is set to always allow this site to set cookies. That comes up in most forums and I'm logged out. But I tried IE too...?

Good idea to clean out all your history & cookies regularly.

You might try CCleaner too: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download

I've been using the free version, back when it was originally called CrapCleaner.
Very effective. You close any open browsers, and let her rip. Doesn't take long.....a couple minutes. Has a registry cleaner too. I run it every couple weeks.
