Old Morse Keys

Post by ctwo »

Just thought I'd post a couple pictures of some old Morse Telegraph Keys I have and would like to restore.

First is a Vibroplex copy or earlier model. I've not been able to place this one in context. The second is a BUNNELL J36 US ARMY SIGNAL CORPS SPEED KEY (not cleaned up here).

Nice job! I used a Vibroplex key when I first got my amateur license as KN4DHG around 1953. I now am licensed as W5QPB.

The Vibroplex is beautiful again. The folks who used them are a different skill. I'm guessing some are ..well not for me to guess. The "ring" finger is special finger and that is why it is protected. It could fly with a Morse Key like these. Not saying it did, not saying anything except appreciation.
