About as interesting as watching a glacier melt.
I say it that way because the gears of law and order move slowly, and there must be some that know the history of a hard artifact like the locomotive has historical significance, as many real details are lost to time, irrespective of the written history saved. I think the game is afoot to remove our impetuous entrepreneur from the game, and take control of the site and its relics for similar purposes.
I wish him luck in his persuits. It is said that well controlled people do not make history. Maybe its time to shake up that part of the system.
IMHO, A railroad engine of that era is a very rare find, and should be brought to the light of day. whatever the condition. It could easily be the core of a museum on the subject.

Nobody seems surprised that a locomotive was considered useless after a little over a decade of use! I guess we should be glad they don't build them like they used to.
