How about Ø θ — – µ π – § ¿ ! © ® ™ ° ± ¶ † ¹ ² ³ ¼ ½ ¾ × ÷ • → € ♫ ♮ ♭ ♯?

Most anything listed as an HTML entity ought to work.

Heh! All of this came about because I asked Mike about my computer no longer being able to use the code when composing a post. I'd enter code and lose the post. Don't have a clue why, but it appears to be fine now. √

I could cut and paste without issue.

I assume you are talking about Alt+Numbe-Pad entries. I can not do that, my laptop has no Number-Pad.

Your laptop should have the number pad on the normal keyboard as a 'function' Do any of the letter keys on the right side have a blue number on them? It's been several years but I have seen/used such keyboards. Mine would suddenly start typing #'s instead of letters and I'd have to stop and figure out the secret key combination to get it back to normal.

What Alt-code did you use to get the image of pi? I can't seem to find that in my list of the codes. TIA.

Thanks, chucketn. I found the blue numbers, now the question is which function key selects the numeric pad.
