Size E 40 position tool post and holders ****SOLD****

Post by Abrackeen » Mon May 28, 2018 4:52 pm

I just purchase this tool post about a month ago. I had to sell the 13" lathe it was mounted on, and the buyer didn't want to pay for the post.

This is a size E tool post and holders. It fits 10"-18" lathes.

This toolpost is very nice, and works perfectly.

I had replaced the stock tool holding bolts with longer ones so I could use my smaller tooling, but all original parts are included.

Comes with:

T nut machined for a Grizzly G0776
9- turning tool holders
2- boring bar holders
1- cutoff tool holder

This is a complete setup at a good price. The spare tool holders alone run at least $130 plus shipping.

No turning tools included.

I'll ship via USPS flat rate priority mail anywhere in the USA for no extra charge.

I'm looking for $800 for everything.

Contact me via email at Austin@texasairgun.com. I'm not certain I get notifications of PMs here, so email is the quickest way to contact me.

I just realized I wrote that this will fit a 10" lathe. The manufacturer says it will, but I disagree. I wouldn't try it on anything smaller than a 12".

The holders are larger than BXA holders. If a BXA is borderline too large, I would bet this will be too large.

Just looked a few of these up on eBay. $800 seems a little high. I believe $600 is substantially more reasonable.

One correction.

It's actually only 8 turning holders, not 9.

I'll also toss in a 3/4 indexable turning tool kit with 5 spare inserts.
