Figured how to transfer picture Phone to PC
It may not seem a great accomplishment but it eluded me until now.

Great achievement!
Can you tell us a little about the power plant?

Re: Figured how to transfer picture Phone to PC
That was my first project.
It stand fastened to the transportation box base. A custom box I use to take to it to a Steam show in western New York, 1600 miles drive each way. Do not ask why.
I bought the drawing for the twin double effect marine engine from Ray Hasbrough.
Not happy to run on compressed air I wanted real steam, but did not want to embark in the construction of a fire tubes real boiler. Too much silver soldering and copper pounding for my taste at the time. Plus complete ignorance on the safety issue. Project fraught with failures and redesign because of the hubris of designing myself instead of "stealing" a proven design. Too cheap to buy fitting ended up designing and making all fitting, displacement lubricator, water level, and whistle. I wised up on the safety valve and bought one.
Cheated on the boiler by using a plumbing TEE and caps. The caps are lap brazed to internal Cu hoops since i did not trust a butt joint with my beginner silver soldering skill.
The boiler has two water tubes over the propane burner and 2 coils from the dome over the fire to add a bit of superheat. Burner made from chopping the Venturi out of a camping stove and extending a copper pipe the length of the boiler full of small holes. A barbecue piezo lighter solve the difficulty of placing a short match without burning your finger.
The dynamo is from a PM kit, is a nice kit and was easy to make. The belt is split hide leather feathered wit a belt sander and glued.
The lamp post is just to give the dynamo something to feed. The whole idea, beside grandpa playing with tools, was to enlighten the grandchildren about the fact that getting the light to turn on reliably every time they flip the switch requires a lot of science, engineering, manufacturing skills, heavy equipment, machinery and know-how. At that I failed miserably because with the attention span of 7 seconds they soon bury their head in the I-Pad to play some silly game with zero educational value, possibly negative educational value. Now you know "The rest of the story".
