P-51 Mustang

Post by Dave_C »

Here are the pics of the 1/4 Scale P-51 Mustang.

It has a Saito 200 twin cylinder engine mounted upside down in the cowl. 10 servos, all digital except the retracts, McDaniel on Board Glow system, Hand painted Pilot and has flown one time.

It is for sale if anyone is interested.

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing

I'm not much on aircraft, but have a soft spot for the WW II era planes.

Are you the builder?

Harold,

Yes but it is built from a kit from Hanger 9. I have scratch build some planes such as a 1/4 scale J-3 Cub. Lost the cub on take off one day and never new what happened. I gave what was left to some young guy to rebuild. I didn't have the heart to fix the wreck. Oh well, anything that goes up will come down, one way or the other.
