Latest collection

Post by RSG »

Hi guys,

I thought I'd share my latest reel collection. I consists of 10 reels and gets the name from the compression mechanism hidden inside the guts which is just a fancy method of stopping the reel from spinning when you don't want it to.

Thanks for looking.....

Very nice looking. How did you create that double pitch knurl?

It appears it's a coarse pitch with one wheel splitting. Also not very deep. Just an observation based on experience in knurling. Lets see what Ron has to say.

LOL, not on purpose. As Harold mentioned the knurl tool wasn't set up properly and the bottom wheel wasn't touching all the way. It was a tight spot to get into on the left side so I was happy to get any knurling at all.
