Diesel Kit

Are there any recomendations for a Diesel Kit? Basic kit that can be built with reasonable lathe and mill tools... My son is estremely keen to build one up for a Science Fair. His teacher, stangely enough, does not think that there is enough science in it. I could agree with that "if his teacher could expalin how diesels work...:... " So a Diesel powered skate board looks to be in the picture....

This looks a good contender... I had wondered if there were other such kits out and how well they were supported. This is still a real good starting place for a determined young man.
