Smoke Rings

Post by mrehmus »

I would like to figure out how to have a model hit'n miss blow smoke rings like the big engines do at the EDGE&TA events. Anyone have any idea how to design an exhaust system to do this?

It would make a great build article.

Mike,

Are you thinking this is more of an attribute to a pipe design than oil in the fuel. Rich detonation at low RPM?

I guess I would have to see what type of smoke rings it is doing. Any video clips?

We had a Plymoth Voyager that did this all the time. I couldn't tell if the people following me were trying to drive through my smoke rings, or Dodging the smoke.
