I'd be interested in pictures of the 1/8 and 1/16 scale models. I use Alibre and have been thinking about converting my Lenaz paper plans to electronic versions. If you sell the 1/8 or 1/16 plans can you supply them in Inventor, STEP or Solidworks formats? Any of those is probably readable in Alibre although it works natively in STEP.

Mike
Here is a link to Pictures of the 1/16 scale Otto Lange Engine.

I can provide the individual part files in any of the formats you mentioned. These file are currently in Inventor .ipt format.
It would take some effort but I could resave these files in another format.
I have not finished dimensioning the 1/16 scale holes and threads to fit with standard drill sizes and thread formats. When you scale things, you sometimes get weird results.

Thanks Jack and Rog. If Rog is going to contact Jonnie I will not since I do not want to ask the same questions and annoy them. I am interested in the computer files if you can make them available.
Thanks,
Len

Hi folks.
At the risk of reopening an old thread, was there a resolution to the copyright discussion?

I would love to get a copy of the 1/8 plans if anyone has them.
Thanks
Phil

Welcome Phil, glad to have you aboard. If you get no response you could try a personal message to some of the previous responders. :) In addition, it would be good to include your location so someone nearby might give some in person help. Just city and state will do. :D :D

Thanks Jack. Good point on the location. I just updated my profile.

I'm currently doing the final assembly of my Mery Explosive engine and am looking for the next challenge. The Otto Langen would be great.

I documented most of the Mery work on my site: http://www.teqknow.com/Shop/Mery.html
