Carburetor Diagrams

Post by Russ Hanscom »

Here are two aircraft engine carburetor diagrams. The Stromberg is a three barrel with a 3/4" fuel line connection, commonly used on the Allison V-12 engines. Not sure what the Holley was on. These have been rolled up since 1945.

The B-25's with the Wrgit R-2600-29 engines had Holley's, as well as the Wright R-1820 on the SBD Dauntless. I have only ever associated them with Wright engines.

Probably some more as well

Operating machines is perfectly safe......until you forget how dangerous it really is!
