I would not think there is much benefit to using Thoriated Tungsten. Not to mention its hazards. Platinum would be nice though unrealistic.

In the realm of welding at low voltage and high current, it shows the benefit in passing electrons efficiently. There are better alternatives to reduce exposure to radio active alpha particles available today,
Not the same issue for a spark plug conductor at high voltage and low current, with the exception of less erosion compared to steel. The temperature may be maintained a bit higher to burn off any fouling too.
