Hello from the new guy.

Post by stevehuckss396 »

Hello Everybody!!

My name is Steve and I am in the great state of Michigan. I logged on to this forum because I am a amature home machinest. I do alot of stuff for friends but my main focus is engines. I started making air engines and then graduated to I.C. Engines. I am currently working on a 1/3rd scale Ruttman mini bike complete with a 1/3rd scale 4HP engine. I plan to keep an eye out and see what the focus is on this forum and maybe join in where I can.

I told one of the moderators I would post some engine pictures of what I have worked on so far.

These are some small air engines that I made.

Then I started making Cox based engines from Cox cylinders and pistons.

Then I built the V4 designed by Bob Shores.

After that I spent a few years designing and building my own V8.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on a lot of really fine work! I feel sure you will enjoy the forum although there doesn't seem to be a lot of activity in the IC Engine section.

Very nice work, Steve! That kind of stuff is my goal, once I (ever) get my shop finished & set up...

I'm not. I have been working 7 days so I am trying to work on simple things. When work lightens up I hope to finish the blown V8. For now I have been working on a 1/3rd scale mini bike but it is moving very slow.

Steve,

My ex brother inlaw used to live in Bloomfield Hills.

It would be great if you put your location in your profile so
it would show up to the left of your posts under your name.
This makes it nice for the reader of your posts.
