Think I can Make A CNC

I have to much time on my hands and was thinking about tring to turn my g9729 into a cnc mill. I have a good idea on how to do it and beleave it would work. Any one every try this. Just wondering because I think I could do it.

The manual for the HF44142 lists the parts that can be bought from China to configure that machine for CNC. Also the Shoptask is a cousin of these machines and it has a CNC option available.
