Build a ways cover?
Can anyone give me some advice on how to build a set of ways covers? I know it's easier to make a wipe setup,But I like the cover because of the 3in1. I have looked at the things that go on the side of window AC's but after a while it looks to me it would not take long to start to crack. It is not that I am to cheap to buy a new set; well yea it is.

One approach: http://www.mcmaster.com/#way-covers/=fb71xj
Short lengths of neoprene sheet also work in milling.
Felt is a good idea anyway to sweep the ways.
At the CC where I spent a year, all the Bridgeports had a vise permanently
mounted and sheets of aluminum bent to fit the table covered the slots
on either side of the vise. Excellent table covers.

Mcmaster; is the way to go. It's a lot cheaper than I thought it would be.
