Need help with Smithy

Post by Grantham »

Today a Smithy followed me home from an estate sale. The widow knew nothing about it, so perhaps you folks can help me identify it. It has about a 12" swing, 6 1/2" over saddle, 18" between centers and a 1" spindle hole. There wasn't any serial number, model number or identifying marks that I could find and of course no manual. It's missing the gib in the tailstock and is my reason for this query.

Any help including a possible link to a manual would be most appreciated. Hope the photo is OK.
