1.5’ scale, 7 ½” gauge Little Engines 4-4-0 American

LOCOMOTIVE

Features:

Copper Boiler
Mechanical Lubricator
Whistle
2 Safety Valves
Injector
Operable Bell
Electric headlight
Grates and Ashpan
Automatic Cylinder Cocks
Locoparts gauge glass
Hinged Cab roof
Well-oiled, runs on air. No leaks and timing is square.
Never been fired
Painted Black with a red wheels and cab. Shiny brass in some spots and some yellow pinstriping on the cab.

TENDER

Partially complete wood tender & arch-bar trucks,
Aluminum water tank
Hand Pump
Painted red on black, with yellow pinstriping.

The tender was not built to LE drawings, and it's simpler than the typical LE tender, but it looks great.
The existing frame had a bad weld and a corner member cracked, so I've taken the body off. It needs a new frame, like that of a simple flat car frame, but I don't have time to do it. The body is made of wood, and it has a hinged cushion seat over the hidden aluminum tank.

This locomotive is a really neat little loco, and it’s about as close to completion as it gets. I have other fish to fry right now. You could have it running in about a week.

It’s in Southern California, and I’ll gladly show it to interested parties. I will be showing it at the Los Angeles Live Steamers Spring Meet, this next weekend.

$8000 takes it.

I actually changed both posts, but I'll change the first one back to avoid the confusion. Pictures coming soon.
