My partner and I are lowering the price of this engine by $2000.00 and still are planning on running it at TM. I will be running on the 26th and 27th . If you are interested please contact me before the meet so I can schedule an appointment with you. Remember it is new . 5hours of running at this time.
Thanks Bob............

Bob,

I hope you have it sold, but I will be a bit dissapointed to not see it at TM. I was looking forward to seeing it run. Take care and hope to see you at TM.

Carl Thanks . I too want to run this beast up there. With the fate of TM looming I would not want to miss the last Triennial. Also would love to meet my Chaski friends. I have paid registration fees and have my hotel reserved so unless this deal falls through I will be there. Thanks for your support. Bob.............

Day 3 at the mountain. Engine running fine 4 hours of running burned 4.5 gallons of propane. Cost of propane at TM was 1.80 per gallon . Do the math ! Pretty cheap. The grades here make this engine really bark. I have never worked so hard firing and engine before . Tomorrow will be my last day running since we leave on Friday before the real assault of operators and trains arrive.over a mile and a half of trains and rolling stock have registered . Tomorrow the attending Chaski members are supposed to gather for lunch. Should be fun!!!!

Mastered the art of firing today . Kept the steam pressure above 100 while running up grades of over2% . Engine just keeps amazing me on how it performs . Met the Chaski gang today at the vendors shed thanks to Mike Massee for organizing this. I will let Mike post on outcome of this and who attended. Loading in morning to get back home . Sure was fun .
