ANYONE NEED BOILER CHECK VALVES

Post by Trainman4602 »

I am taking orders for Hancock Boiler check valves.

I will be making about 30 valves.

I will supply them with either a spanner nut or a flange connection. I will also offer the option to have a curved connection.

The prices are as follows.

HANCOCK BOILER CHECK 1 ½ scale.
With flanges as pictured ------------------- $200.00
With flanges and curved inlet-------------- $250.00
With spanner nuts-------------------------- $195.00
With spanner nuts and curved inlet--------$230.00

They will include a boiler fitting with either a 1/8 or 1/4 NTP thread and a spare set of “O” ring seals

All will have a 5/16 tubing solder furrel connection.

I will ship Free ( no handling fee ) to anywhere in the USA (lower 48).

Foreign shipments extra.

PM me if you are interested Thanks dave

What type of valve and seat are these? Are they ball checks or like the Superscale style?

There is no ball

Actually they have a MERCER style seat. I use an "O" ring seat. I get a more positive by using a Viton "O" ring . The metal to metal seal eventually leak with the build up of scale.

I will post a picture when I get to the shop.

Hi Jerry
I'm not sure as this is a new product. I will test every valve and I will preform a horizontal test as well. I'm doing a run of safety valves and should finish by the end of the week Check valves are next.

Thanks, Dave. Your tests will determine whether or not I need the curved tail piece. i will need two check valves, flanged, 1/8" pipe when you are ready with them.
