SOLD - STUART FEED WATER PUMP
This is an old but totally complete STUART FEED WATER PUMP that has been sitting in my basement for 12 years and sat in several of Jim Stuart's basement(s) for probably 30 years before that. Box dates to when STUART models was in Guernsey to give you an idea of age -> which means nothing except that the castings are 'well seasoned'.
The box is VERY ROUGH -> has been through dousing of a house fire, but the contents are complete.
Manual / drawings were not damaged and metal components are still vacuum sealed.
These things sell for close enough to $100.
Willing to take $50 or OBO (if it comes to that.)
Sales price does not include shipping, which will be ground from ZIP 19734 to wherever you are. I suspect that USPS flat rate box will be cheapest.

Between the pump and launch engine, you'll have LOTS of fun winter work ahead!
Keep me informed of your progress.
They are nice projects!
Does this mean that the Puffin's engine is mostly rebuilt?

It's all done except the valves and valve train. We won't know if work is required there untilNP317 wrote:

we re-assemble it and check the timing. And Steve's been very quiet recently...

I shared emails with Steve yesterday, so I understand his relative silence.
Taking care of a resort with 10+ cabins is draining!
I always thought that place needed a 7.5" gauge track to deliver firewood to all the cabins...

Yeah, with the grades he could have used a Shay!! I'd say he has more than enough drama in his life right now....NP317 wrote:That's good progress on Puffin. Thanks for the report.10KPete wrote:It's all done except the valves and valve train. We won't know if work is required there untilNP317 wrote:
