SOLD VERTICAL SINGLE CYLINDER ENGINE - Stuart 7A?

Post by Bill Shields »

3rd of my cleanout items.

I THINK this is a STUART VERTICAL 7A or something similar but has a solid flywheel and the base is a little bit different from what is shown in the current advert. Maybe just an older version?

You would be hard pressed to get a CLEAN 1" bore from this, but 1-1/8 would be no problem. Stroke of 1" or a little more is reasonable.

Again WYSIWYG. No drawings or bar parts - only castings.

I don't think it is a pig in a poke because there are enough castings here to make a running engine if you are creative and get the valve gear dimensions from Stuart for the 7A.

If it really is a 7A engine, then the kit is $250 or so. Drawings are available from Stuart.

Asking $100 -> OBO (reasonable)

Shipping will be from ZIP 19734. this will go in a USPS FLAT RATE box no problem at all.
