Air Reservoir

Post by Solar1953 »

Anyone know where I can locate an air reservoir (non-functional)? Precision Steel Car had one, but they have discontinued it.

Non-functional?
Seems like it would be easy enough to make from some tubing. You could consider EMT conduit as a source of material, assuming it's the right diameter. You may also discover the proper diameter in pipe. Lots of source options.

The folks at Flashers r Us have a nice solid resin cast in rubber, with details added after the casting process.

They also have a bunch of other freight car brake components.
