I had a request fairly recently about making a copy of the number plate that is on Maine Forest and Logging Museum's Lombard log hauler. I made and still own the pattern for this, the original number plate was long gone when they restored it.
So, as is my normal practice, I made multiple molds to ensure I got at least one good one. I had two turn out nicely. I sent one to the original requestee, and had this one left over.
This copy is cast in solid bronze, the originals were cast iron. Price is $125, plus a USPS flat rate shipping box. If you are a collector of number plates, here is a good opportunity to branch out a bit and get an example of a number plate that is fairly rare. There are very few originals of these in existence, only three that I know of.
