WTB: boxcar or caboose roof detail?

Post by jmurray »

I am looking for the flat boxcar panels that lay in between the roof ribs. I have seen them before online but for the life of me, I cannot remember where.

They are a thin guage steel in where you can bend them over the peak of roof panels. Precision car has the ribs, but I didnt see the flat panels that go in between..I am building a Titan trains caboose and thought these would match the prototype roof a little better.

any help would be appreciated..thank you!

Feel free to contact us at info@precisionsteelcar.com While not on our website yet we have decided to carry the "bow tie" panels from our boxcar kit ala carte for scratch building exercises. We also will be offering the middle roof walkway mounting brackets (in stock) and the brackets that we use to support the end of the walkway that overhangs that end of the car.
