1" Scale Ride Astride Passenger Car Kits

Now available for 1" scale are easy to assemble kits for ride astride passenger cars. Just like the 1.5" scale kits just smaller (http://www.chaski.org/homemachinist/vie ... 0&t=106731). No welding required, goes together with simple tools; just glue, screws, and some clamps needed to put the kit together.

Kit includes 18 CNC cut pieces from quality sanded ½" Baltic Birch Plywood + ½" Baltic Birch Plywood Seat + easy to follow instructions.
(Trucks, couplers and assembly hardware not included)

Overall dimensions of the car are:
56" long
~16" tall (depending on trucks)
10" wide

Had some bricks for a backyard project and decided to do a weight test with the car. Pictured below is over 1000 lbs. of bricks on the car (bricks weigh just over 21 lbs. each) while the car is supported on the bolsters. The car is glued together with Titebond III and #6 wood screws were used to hold the parts together while the glue dried; No steel structure.

If you are looking for some clubs cars to haul the public, or just want a car to put the kids on, this is the perfect car for you.
