Updated: 1" Pacific Castings and Tender ****SOLD****

Post by mattmason »

This is a repost. I am adding a working propane or coal tender in place of the tender parts at the same price. The tender in the pictures is the one included in the sale. I was unable to edit the original post.

Little Engines castings for a 1” scale Pacific. Selling because I bought a running pacific and have too many other projects to complete. The machine work was done by Curtis Jensen of Golden Gate Live Steamers and is in fine condition. This was his second loco, the first being a 1” LE Atlantic. I am happy to take more pics if you wish of any part.

These are the original LE castings mainly in cast iron and bronze. Only a few castings are aluminum, and as I understand always were, such as the delta truck, smokebox ring and door, cab roof, and pilot. The two castings I do notice that are missing are the crossheads.

All major parts appear to be here and most are already machined:
Complete frame with axles, axleboxes, all spring rigging and equalization
Completed Delta Trailing Truck
Completed Lead Truck
Radius Links
Crank Pins
Valve Gear
Side Rods
Main Rods
Eccentrics
Pistons
Slide Valves
Reversing Shaft
Cylinders
Steam Chest Covers
Crosshead Guides
Crosshead Guide Supports
Cylinder Heads
Snifter Valves
Side Rod and Crankpin Jigs
Smokebox
Blastpipe
Stack
Petticoat
Pilot
Domes
Cab Roof
Cab Sides (not original LE and is a bit off, but I’m including it here for use with a little adjustment)
Boiler cast firebox girder stays (if you wish to build a copper boiler)
Other misc parts you can see there are other parts also included in the pictures.

Vanderbilt tender is steel and ready to use.
• Piped for propane from a propane car following
• Coal bunker is open to be used if you decide to fire on coal
• Tender was used on a working pacific
• Has frame ready for truck installation

Finally, you need a complete set of plans for the loco and those are also included. Here are the included prints (the #1 erecting overview print is not here):
#2-Frame
#3-Wheels
#4-Axle Boxes and Spring Rigging
#5-Revised Frame and Boiler Brace
#6-Trailing Truck
#7-Front Truck
#8-Pilot
#9-Cylinders
#10-Cylinder Block Parts
#11-Crossheads and Links
#12-Valve Gear
#13-Smokebox
#14-Throttle Parts
#15-Boiler
#15A-Ash Pan and Grates
#16-Cab and Domes
#17-Reverse Quadrant
#18-Tender Trucks
#19-Tender
#20-Piping
#88-Axle Pump

$2500 for it all. Shipping and crating is at actual cost from 95827 or can deliver within a day's drive from Sacramento, Calif., at cost.
