New detail parts to be released shortly: 1 3/4" scale + more

Post by Adirondack »

New 3D printed parts being released in our store this week: vacuum brake cylinder, brakewheel w/ratchet & pawl, stake pockets, end sill washers, pipe fittings, K brake cylinder, and more.

These will be offered in multiple scales, and can be custom printed to any size you might need. This is a durable, engineering-grade resin which should hold up to reasonable care and handling.

Watch this space for more news.

A little locomotive with 4 wheels on the track is a lot more fun
than a 1/2 finished one with 16 wheels on the bench!

I am not in need, but exactly what scale is "1 3/4" ? Your possible customer may be puzzled too?

1 3/4" equals 12" in real life. It is the correct scale for modeling two foot prototypes on 3 1/2" gauge. Not sure how this could be puzzling.

Sorry: I was familiar with the terms 3/4", 1", 1-1/2" and 2-1/2" (with = 12" unsaid) =, but had not heard of 1-3/4".

It is indeed obscure.
