Purchased this good start on this Schroeder 2 Truck Shay engine a week ago. Due to no room I've got to sell it fast. Picture shows what I purchased. Frame appears to be nicely done. Water tank ( Brass ) is also very nice. Boiler was started but needs finishing.Built to plans but it needs stays . tap holes for valves .and tubes installed . This will require some one with more experiance than I have. All bearings and Boston gears are here . As seen in photos some of the machine work has been done on the cylinder assembly and I have not tried to assemble it .All castings are also included to finish construction. A complete set of prints are also inc. I have based my price one whats inc and I did not place a price on boiler due to it not being completely done . 1500.00 Takes it all.
