Ditch lights

Have a friend who wants to add Ditch lights to his loco,anyone making kits like the old Flashers are us ones,
Any good sources or designs

Has Step Lights, aren't they the same as Ditch Lights?

Nope. Those light the locomotive steps.. Ditch lights face forward and are a safety feature to make the locomotive more visable at grade crossings. Think about them the same as daytime running lights on your car or truck.
