WTB air Pump 3 3/4 scale

Post by tomc »

Hi,

I am looking for castings or completed pump to get an 11 inch pump. Will consider 4 inch and 5 inch scale. I want it to pump air with steam.

send emails to or PM: edit out the extra words for email.

Thanks Harlock, I emailed them when I started this quest. Very pricey but nice.

They sell larger air and water pumps at locoparts.biz. They say that they are 2 1/2" scale but they use them on RMI 3.75" locomotives and they look and work fine.

RMI 3.75" scale Prairie 2-6-2 under construction.

Tom

I offer the castings and prints for the CA Street pump that Power Models use to sell...Have gone through the prints and made lots of corrections

they make a 2 1/2 " scale 11" or a 3" scale 9 "...either way it makes a lot of air and stands near a foot tall

Mike:

I see you show that in bronze in the picture.

Are individual castings still available for the pump?

I have a couple of castings (bronze) from Power Models that are terribly porous that are essentially non-usable, and would like to finish the pumps.

Alternative is to make heads from solid, machined - which I would like to avoid if possible.
Too many things going on to bother listing them.

Bill

I don't have any Bronze castings on the shelf at the moment, the pattern is a family board so getting a single part breaks up the set....how ever, I have been toying with the idea od separating the parts onto individule boards and may now just do that as you are the second person to ask for a single part

which head do you need
