Stuart Compound Launch Unmachined Set of Castings

Post by 8thscale »

For Sale: a complete set of original drawings and wrapped castings (including reverse gear) for a Stuart Compund Launch
Compound Cylinder Bore: 3/4 & 1 1/4 inch Stroke: 7/8 in.

Here is a link to a construction article of this engine, a beautiful model!

There's a joke about not starting a new project until the castings have appropriately aged "under the bench". No worries, I have the receipt from 1979!

Looking for a reasonable offer, I have too many projects!
Thank you
Dave

Picked up casting kit last night. We happen to be local to each other. They are typical stuart.....beautiful. will be a nice deviation in the evenings at home when I don't have any small locomotive parts to make...(yea right)
