WTB: LBSC's "Maisie" bits and drawings

Post by TWOFOOT » Sun Jun 05, 2011 12:03 pm

Yes, I know Reeves or Blackgates has them.

I'd like to make use of a set that has been hiding unused in someone's closet on this side of the big pond.

Thanks!

Chris

The "Maisie" is a great little runner. Please check out LALS Spring Meet 2011 posting by Harlock. There are great photos of the two Maisies running. They will also be at LALS's Small Scales meet at the end of the month.

Mike was kind enough to send me links to a number of his Maisie photos.

My 2 boys want a steam project of their own. You know, dad does the work and they get all the glory!

Here's one of those pictures:

I think I may have the Masie book, if you are interested. No drawings or parts.

Yep, Oskar and his lady friend.

I have the "words and music" for Maisie as well.

Thanks,

Chris

I ran the engine briefly, it's pretty fun although I cannot run it for very long on the ground - high line would be better.

The Maisie tops out at 80 PSI...shove the firebox full of coal and go!

why don't you look at what John K at Friends models has to offer?

Coventry's 0-6-0 is a nice model and easy to transport.

His castings are superb.

Or a Raritan? Amazing little loco.
Too many things going on to bother listing them.
