Maxi-Lucky 7 plan set for sale

Original Don Young set from late 1980s, great condition.

Replacement cost from Britain is $483.00+ (plus shipping, and maybe some VAT tax) ; http://www.ejwinter.com.au/catalogue/EJ ... -05-11.pdf

My set says; SCALE: full and twice full size.
Gauge: 3+1/2" and 7 +1/2"
Copyright 1976 Don Young.

There are 19 big Engineering sized drawings all folded up (to 8.5 x 11" it looks like), and they are over 1" think in the stack.

These are a real Don Young set. I have a letter from the last owner telling me that he bought the set from whom ever handled the Don Young sets in the 80's.

They have some yellowing on the folded edges, but are still perfectly usable , and still look great.
All dimensions legible.

Who wants them and what are they worth to ya? Minimum is $330, and I'll send them insured.

Hurry before I put them up on Discover Livesteam in a few days. they will go quick over there.

David

David,

E and J Winter are Australian, and the price quoted is in Aussie Bucks.

The present price from Reeves 2000 in the UK is £102.88 (plus shipping, but including VAT)

So it costs $100 USD for 19 size "E" sheets.

These are drawings/plans that you would be much better off buying new.

For me to discount and sell mine is not worth the trouble, so they are not for sale any more. Sorry

If any of you ever wanted to build one of the B&SR 2-4-4 #7 or #8 locos buy those drawings from one of the suppliers, they are fantastic drawings, especially for their nominal cost.

David,

I could not get my blackberry to make it work, but go to Oanda com and convert the amounts. UK pounds are about 1 pound to 2 dollars, while Aussie dollars are running close to par. The Winter drawings cost so much because Reeves owns all of Don Young's copyrights, and Winter has to add carriage halfway 'round the world and markup. I was only alerting you to the Internet advertised price to avoid haed feelings later.
