Pile of old catalogs

Post by SteveM »

I'm cleaning out the basement and I found a pile of old live steam catalogs someone else probably needs more than me.

Not worth listing all of them, nor taking pictures, but there are old catalogs from:
Reeves - 1989
Coles - 1970
Stuart - 1978, 1989
Simec magazine (1986 and 1989)
PM research - 2002
Lilliput Motors
Railroad Supply - 4th edition (Shows Chester G. Peterson as president, if that's any indication of the year)
Pen Models - 1970
Little Engines - 1971 & 1972

It's about a 3" tall stack of paper.

How's $10 plus media mail shipping sound?

Also have a booklet titled "Mitchells Models and easy lessons in Locomotive Running" from the International Correspondence Schools. This booklet is on:
Quick action triple valves and brake equipment
Cleaning triple valves and freight brake cylinders
Brake leverage

It's in rough shape , but it has a lot of interesting drawings and fold-out color plates showing the operations of the equipment.

Someone was cataloging the ICS books and was going to take this, but they never got back to me.

Make me an offer.

I'm also working on a listing of books about trains (prototype, not model). Will have that later.
