NOS 1" or 3/4" Yankee Shop Atl/Pac? cylinder castings

Post by SteveM »

I have a set of cylinder castings, including the saddle, both cylinders, valve chests and one valve (you can easily fabricate the other one).

John K. has told me that he is 99% sure that these are 1" scale Yankee Shop cylinder castings for the Atlantic and Pacific.
(John sent me a note to say that he thinks that these may be 3/4" scale, not 1" - he's going to take a look at what he has in the shop to see what it matches and what they might be for.).

These have dummy piston valve steam chests.

All castings are unmachined.

$200 including shipping anywhere I can send a USPS flat rate box, or pick them up this weekend (probably Saturday only) at PVLS. They will be on the swap table.

I will also have a pile of misc. tooling and books on the swap table too. Many items priced at $1.

The saddle is too tall to be a Friends Yankee Shop Atlantic/Pacific part. I have one of their 1" Atlantics and the saddle is much shorter.

The cylinders look right, though.
