I am listing this for the owner and will be happy to address any questions. Interested buyers are welcome to come and inspect the engine and I will make arrangements for the owner to be available during buyer’s inspection. As is where is. Located in Sanford, Florida

Nice thing is that it doesn't matter what gauge your lawn is :-)

How is the boiler fired,ie propane? Will it operate on air? Wish I lived closer, they used the prototypes on the farm probably 80 years ago. Would be nice to have, but hard to go look at since I'm in Illinois.

The boiler barrel diametter is 5". The tubes look to be 3/8" with two 1/2" in the center. It appears to have been fired with small pieces of coal or wood. I will try and run it on air over the weekend if I don't have to work.

Thank you,

Jeff Smith

If you hydro'd that boiler you could probably fetch a lot more for the engine if it proves sound. :)

Jeff

Thanks for the pictures, I had hoped the flues would be 1/2"

Let us know if you get it running on air. A hydro would be nice but
if you do it, do not exceed the operating pressure.
