Allen Models Fitchburg Northern for sale. Completed in May 2013. Latest hydro test on 21 June 2014. Last run 15 July 2014. Features:

• 7 ½ inch gauge; 2 ½ inch scale
• Coal fired
• Briggs type boiler
• Two SuperScale Economy injectors
• Hand pump in tender
• Mechanical cylinder drain cocks
• Real Trains arch bar trucks and bolsters on tender
• Steam brakes on engine, battery operated air compressor in tender for train brakes
• Electric fan for raising steam at fire up and all necessary firing and cleaning tools included.

Engine located in the Indianapolis area. Wood deck with track and tie downs for transportation in back of SUV, pickup, minivan, etc. included for local pick up (I haul mine in the back of a Kia Soul). Otherwise, buyer arranges and pays for crating and shipping. Can deliver up to 200 miles for price of gas.

Had this engine sold? I have been reluctant to consider buying it because I could not figure out how to get it home. There is a possibility that I will need to haul a load of stuff from Colorado to Washington, DC this fall and if it is still available, I would consider buying it on my way back home.
