Solenoid Actuator for Parking Brake?

Bicycle brakes can clamp on the edges of the wheel treads for a parking brake too.

They also make a bicycle disk brake.

Brakes need very little travel, therefore leverage can be used effectively to multiply the force.
In addition a solenoid pull force gets progressively stronger as the gap closes, a fact that matches the low force requirements during the brake free play getting progressively higher at the break tighten. I believe a solenoid no larger than a wine bottle cork will do.
