1 1/2 scale couplers?

Post by gwerhart0800 »

I need to find some 1 1/2 scale couplers that fit 1" x 2" rectangular tubing. I was hoping to find some that I can just order via a web shopping site without the need for a phone call or sending a check via USPS. They don't need to be sprung, and any thing other than aluminum would be fine. So far, my Google search has come up empty and I could not find a supplier on DSL that had a web ordering capability. Any suggestions?

Thx,
George

When I try to add them to the cart, the popup says that they are not available until 11/7. Assuming nothing else pops up, I will try again on the 7th.

Right on the main, home page of Discover LS site.

http://livesteamerparts.com/
click on the part wanted and below is "add to cart". That should bring up an ordering page with Paypal or?

Try this....http://www.islandpondrailroad.com/tombee/index.htm.

Tom Bee is a great guy, suppler supplier and straight shooter to work with. Have many of his products in various pieces of rolling stock. Can't remember how long ago it was that I started buying his trucks and couplers. One set of trucks is at least 14 years old...and has in excess of 1500 miles on it. I have Tom's older style couplers...they still work great!

No web site shopping. You said you didn't want to call, but talking with the supplier is a great way to get to know who's selling you products. Your choice. Carl B.

I checked Tom Bee site this AM--says he is not accepting New orders account moving to larger shop. Will be working to complete prior orders first. 11/4/14

You gonna let a message on a web site stop you or slow you down? I know Tom is moving...the bigger problem may be trying to figure out which box has got his supply of couplers!

The man needs some couplers. Send Tom an email. If he's got time, he'll respond. If he's got couplers...they're all but yours. If he can't respond...you'll find out one way or another! Geez. Carl B.
