Cbrew,
I did install the 1k resistor as I saw your recommendation on another post. Forgot to mention that. Lifted the wiper lead to verify it does the job. Thanks for posting the schematic. I'll have to get another toggle switch as mine is single throw. Seems to work ok but I'm sure it would be a more solid control to apply the 5v.

well you can always add a resistor to pull S2 to 5v if the switch is pulling to 0v, the direction change happens right around 2.5v, hate to see it floating around that level and just change direction at track speed,, that can get messy :)

i attached a sneak peak of the latest loco, this one is sporting 4 500w motors (one per axle) and will start off with two Syren 50s
and one of Roys digital systems with the RC option.
I am just waiting on items from Connie so i can finish painting the cab

If it is not live steam. its not worth it.
