Passenger Train Update

here are a couple shots of the current status of the passenger train build from this last weekend,
two more cars complete. three more to go.

If it is not live steam. its not worth it.

That night picture of the blue running gear kind of looks like the engines of the starship Enterprise. Nice shot and the cars are looking great.

Thanks for the kind words, the blue was suggested by a friend, and i have say, its amazing how easy it is to see watch and steam from the injectors etc. I need to add a couple more farther up so i can see the lubricator functioning. but of very happy with the lighting.. Now i just need to add the running lights, windows and inside lighting to the cars.
If it is not live steam. its not worth it.

Why the blue lighting instead of regular incandescent lighting. Does it make it easier to see?

it does for my eyes and it does not need to be super bright.
in this picture, you can compare the running lights to the glass light,
same type of LED. just different color.

even with the glass light as bright as it is, its not over powering.

and over course, every subsystem is on its own switch so they can be used when needed
