Does anyone know ANYONE who has done a facsimile model of a 1.5 KB, KC, or KD brake cylinders and reservoirs? I have one being turned for me by my nephew in the machine shop business but I got to thinking it might be worth the while to see if anyone has 3d printed them. This new Pullman Standard outside braced sawtooth boxcar for our Soo Line roster sits high above the rails and the underframe is begging for some detail.
I would use the AB brakes if all the parts were available but presently the only one I know about is PSC and they no longer have the reservoir, and the brake cylinder is actually for a diesel truck rather than under a freight car.
Any help is appreciated.

Re: KB brake cylinders
I forgot to add a couple of photos of the KB cylinder shown on the PS plans for this car.
The measurements shown are for 1.6 scale.

Re: KB brake cylinders
The kind folks at Flashers R Us offer resin cast reservoir for an AB brake system

Howard Gorin has a modern freight car air brake cylinder - 607-434-0139
An older cylinder would look better - the type with a bolt on covers.
Maybe you could find someone with a single ended brake cylinder that was normally used on a tender
Your best bet for a KD is the guys that supply narrow gauge Rio Grande type stuff. Perhaps someone else in the group can point you in that direction.

Hi
Check with Jeff Smith at Branchline Products. I know he sold them at one time. He also has Camel Company Door Latch Hardware.

Tim , I did buy some of the door hardware and brake staff parts from Jeff, they are extremely well done in brass. I did not see the brake cylinder parts I am after but I will check again.
