Does anyone know a vendor that supplies number boards for a 1.5" scale SD-35

Welcome Mac!
Sounds like a Railroad Supply unit.
Are the holes cut out of the front of the cab
for lighted number boards or are they solid?
Pretty sure RR Supply furnished the shells solid.
If yours are not cut out you can paint them
then use stick on numbers, or paint white,
stick on numbers, paint the whole board black
then remove the stick on numbers.
If you are wanting to light them you'll need to
make some from lexan or other thick plastic.
Mask by again sticking on numbers, painting black then removing the numbers. Cut out the openings and install. Installing lights will be the next trick.
