It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you that Mr. Arthur (Art) Crisp passed away at 3:00 am this morning. He was 92 years young.
Before there was a Quentin Breen and a Train Mountain, there was an Ed St. John and the Over The Hill Livesteamers. Ed’s go to guy for track was Art.
Quentin Breen and his Train Mountain dream started and his go to guy for all things track, was yep you guessed it, Art.
Always a smile, never anything disparaging, always upbeat.
He will surely be missed.

Re: Art Crisp passes
Very sad news. Art was one of the finest individuals I have had the pleasure to know. He, and his good wife Gen (deceased), hosted countless numbers of dinners at their home, welcoming those of us who travelled to Oregon to enjoy the live steam hobby. He will, indeed, be missed.
The "old guard" of live steaming has now officially come to an end, at least for me. All of the individuals who were at the meets are now deceased. It's a sad thing that the vast majority of individuals in the hobby are in their advanced years.
